Receding Waters Creation

As simple as it sounds, we're going back to the basics here. We're beginning with Jesus. Block out the world and focus on Jesus and the Word of God, for it is God (John 1:1; Revelation 19:13).

It all began in November 2023

In November 2023, I was suicidal. I planned a day to take my life but deep down, I knew I wanted to live. In the midst of suffocating thoughts, I cried out to God for a new wind to fill my lungs.

He answered.

He delivered me from suicidal ideation, depression, and anxiety. I was then thrown into a 2-and-1/2-year waiting season. Through that season, it was just me, God, and my dogs. He became my church. He became my pastor. He taught me the Word of God through the Holy Spirit.

Since then, I've been nose deep in the Word of God and only taking a peep into the world every now and again.

Want to know what I saw?

A bunch of lukewarm Christians. And I would know because I was a lukewarm Christian for 5 years in my walk with Christ.

So, when God told me it was time to begin ministry and to begin teaching His Word, I knew it was time to take on the assignment of speaking against lukewarm Christianity and eradicating it from the body of Christ.

At Receding Waters, we believe in being filled with the Holy Spirit and letting Him guide us. We don't tolerate Satan. At all. We believe God in his written Word and what He has personally convicted you of and what he has instructed you to do.

We love, fear, and serve God with all our hearts, souls, and minds.

We read His Word and meditate on it. We apply it to our lives and let it guide us.

It's time to stand firmly with Christ. We make Christ our firm foundation, hence the name of the ministry. Receding Waters is when the water recedes, signifying that a tsunami is about to hit. As the water pulls back, it exposes the sea floor. In this case, that's your foundation. We remove everything from your foundation that's not of God and replace it with what is. That way, when the water comes back tenfold as it does in a tsunami, everything that comes will be from God, and you'll be able to steward it well.

If you haven't given your life to Christ, there's no better time than now! Simply read the prayer of salvation below and commit yourself to the One who gave His life for yours.

Lord God, thank you for sacrificing your one and only Son for my sins. Thank you for the perfect and free gift of salvation. Today, I acknowledge I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I confess with my mouth and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior over my life. I receive Christ in my heart. Jesus, you are Lord over everything concerning me. Remove anything from my life that is not pleasing to you and bring into my life what glorifies your name.  Holy Spirit, I ask that you fill me wholly and completely. Come into me, Holy Spirit, and teach me your ways. Lead me on the path you predestined for me before the foundations of the world were formed. Thank you, Jesus Christ, for saving my life, delivering me from my sins, and freeing me from the kingdom of darkness. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, have your way, Lord God. Amen.
